I'm unsure of whether it's a good or bad thing though. Every single year 5-8 teams acquire some kind of Rental to make their team better and (I'm going a bit from memory here) most teams that win the cup did make a rental move. Maybe STL didn't...Del Zotto wasn't a big piece, but again not 100% sure off the top of my head. COL certainly did with DK and Manson. TBL certainly has with Savard and Coleman. As a Hawks fan, I can safely say that they did too.
