I'm sure the return on Boeser when they finally trade him will be underwhelming, but good god if this is all they can get back, just keep him.

If the Canucks can get monogram and sign him to around $4 million AAV, it gives them insurance in case Bo doesn’t resign

Just keep the asset and sign Monahan (Or someone else...) in free agency.

The retention on Myers make it lopsided tho

We need good Defencemen not more forwards.Why would we trade both players with no D man coming back.No fit here IMHO.

Dadonov is just a cap dump. Monogram can be resigned for cheap. This opened up a ton of cap space for vancouver next year to get a Dman
