For starters. Canucks stated don’t wanna retain so the ton of retaining makes for an easy no. Not going to even get into the offer.

So let me get this straight.

You want to trade 7 starting players off the current roster , their best young player in Robertson and A goalie who has the best GAA and Save % in the entire nhl . All this while the leafs are tied for third in the whole NHL?

This might be the worst post I’ve seen in a long time. This makes the leafs 100% worse.

The 3rd best team in the league should definitely change almost half their forward core with bottom enders from non playoff teams.

laugh Allvin isn't retaining on Boeser, Horvat and Myers. And outside of Sandin, Robertson and the 2024 1st round pick it's basically all scraps and pieces that Vancouver doesn't need.

The roster I created is far better than what they have considering I got boeser, horvat, domi, Entwistle, bjugstad and Tyler myers on D, I'm thinking playoffs I mean that's the best third line in the league but it's a fantasy anyways.
talking about being currently third in the league means absolutely nothing for competing for the cup it's clear, Boston and Tampa are still going to have their way with the Leafs because they have the same soft support group in the bottom half of the lineup and even worse they are missing a top winger in the top 6 and a top D in the top 4 so the goalies being stellar have saved them.
but tbay and Boston don't have these issues, considering Dubas is in a contract year with no playoff success he's gone no question.

Ty Voit leads the OHL in points and everyone is in love with Holl, but Arizona should be taking anything they can get for the jabronies that are in their roster.

Mysers has next season
Boeser have next 2 seasons
Horvat the rest of this season

With the modern NHL cap he will 100% retain for good prospects and picks, or he will retain new contracts, or for good cheaper prices to join his team that's the only way they get moved and the retention is nearly nothing in timeframe and Horvat is likely to be rented so if he goes to a good team against the cap it's only common sense

Of those 3 only Horvat is retained. Boeser won't be retained and Allvin will probably only get a 3rd for him. Doubt Myers is moved.

Where are the good prospects and picks in this trade? This offer won't get you the retention alone. Hilarious...

I doubt Myers gets moved to unless they are really looking for a new look and get something while they can.

I don't see how a team will pick up boeser for the full 6 million without sending at least 5 mill back to Vancouver, unless you're Ottawa, Chicago, Arizona with cap space but 2 of those teams are looking for futures not a settled 6 million dollar player. I doubt Dubas in Toronto makes a move even close to high profile but it's fun to have dreams lol.
Cheers

Robertson, Sandin, Hollowell, 1st rounder

Take kalgren, any of the 5 defensemen with NHL potential, take Knies

Take Dubas for that matter he can sure rebuild, all he does is build and protect the future even 7 years into Matthews career he's still looking at the distant future it's like a feature of his big brain unfortunately.

Boeser more than likely is a cap dump for a cap dump.

And i agree that it's doubtful that Myers gets moved right away.
