Kings decline. I only say that because they have no intention of trading Peterson, the rest are expendable but like I said Peterson isn't on the table...... YET

They put him on waivers last week or a few weeks ago and he cleared. That means they were willing to lose him for zero. No team claimed him.

That's not what that means. That means that due to his recent struggles and significant cap hit, they were confident they could sneak him through waivers without anyone taking him. Now that he has cleared, he has the added flexibility of being able to go up and down from the AHL. He has looked really good for the Reign since he was sent down.

I do not believe the Kings have given up on him. He doesn't have any trade value, but that doesn't mean they're actively trying to get rid of him either. They're hoping that Matt Millar can work his magic and get him back on top of his game again.
