I’m a flames fan so hate west if you must Canucks fans but this trade only works if Columbus gives up a 2nd and a prospect instead of what will be a lottery pick in 2023.

I'm not sure why so many believe Columbus is a good trade destination for Horvat...

This team is not trying to win any more this year. Making this trade would be counterproductive, and Horvat also isn't the 1C that Columbus needs.

Horvat isn't being traded to a Non-Playoff team like Columbus, Roslovic doesn't want to play in Canada, Hence why he was traded out of Winnipeg to his hometown of Columbus. Boqvist can't even stay healthy. Vancouver will get better deals than this for Horvat.

I don’t really find any of these compelling, except maybe Gus to Pittsburgh. A trade with Vancouver doesn’t make sense at this point with the team so deep down it’s depth chart thanks to injuries and so far down the standings. The ages of Vancouver’s two centers (Horvat OR Miller) don’t really line up with what Columbus is trying to build, and just having a surfeit of that Vancouver needs (RD) doesn’t make a perfect trading partnership.

No need for roster players or prospects for Gavrikov. A late first or possibly multiple seconds is sufficient.
