Buffalo has a true top 6. Filling out the 3rd line, bottom D pair and goaltending is what's needed. Paying to add superstar forwards is not what's gonna get them over the hump.

I don’t think you want an $11.642mil Panarin. He’s great, but to me is not worth what he makes (overpaid by $2 mil imo). Plus he doesn’t drive play well enough at 5 on 5 imo and is awful defensively. Doesn’t provide enough offense to offset the negatives. Gotta be a better way to spend $11.642mil imo. Plus better to have more cap flexibility.
