According to who? Bennett who has a career scoring average .02 ppg higher than Girard a dman who gets zero PP1 time? Or is it you see 5’10 170 and have bias towards that? Because it sure isn’t because he is better. Bennett’s had one season where he produced at a top 6 rate, Girard’s produce like a top 4 dman his entire career.

based on overall impact - by almost every metric Bennett has been the more valuable player over the past 2 seasons. Girard has been replacement level the past couple of years, obviously he has had seasons where he's been top.4 caliber or else I wouldn't have proposed this trade. It's more risky for FL to make this trade.

Nothing against 5'10 defenseman - the isles 5'10 180 lb defenseman has been their best D this season.
