This is probably a bad idea but if its good its GREAT

Description
I know our management probably would not do this, this is just what I would do. My biggest concern is could Domi play full time center and will Mcginn regress if he's on the off wing.

"Future considerations" Honestly if they give us a tin of chew They'd be over paying. If LA won't take this trade just send him to Wilkes-Bare. or Wheeling, or Mars for all I care. I hate to disrespect Dumi by sending him down but we just can't keep him.

Why would the Canucks do that. Already have a tight cap situation and would only get a fourth in return. Take Pearson back and maybe we consider.

My only criticism is if the Pens are giving up a 1st round pick I would hope it's in a package for somebody better than Laf. I'm getting Kapanen PTSD

U should not do this trade even if we took Pearson's but Jim Rutherford is your president...... you guys would do this trade. That man would skate through fire on salt water pond just to tie Kappenenen's skates

Fair, that was my other worry, working on a more simple idea right now.

Domi half retained probably costs the 2023 2nd only. He has looked pretty good centering Hawks top line. Winning well over 50% at the dot. Very active in the O zone and not the black hole on D everyone on here claims he is and his dumb penalties are down too. He doesn't hit and he won't drop the mitts but the Hawks don't ask him to do that.

As an aside, the Hawks would probably take Dumo for that 2023 3rd if Pens are really just looking to offload him

Domi is a black on hole on D, but I agree with you on the value if half is retained. I just don't want him on the Pens.

Dumo is sadly highly unlikely to be moved.

Ok good, haven't watched Chicago play much this year but knew he was better as a winger in previous seasons. As to his asking price, I can't really gage the price right, hopefully your right.

And I'm gonna go out on a Limb and guess that Chicago is on Dumillons no Trade list. it would most certainly be on mine.

I personally wouldn’t move Laf for that.

Either a center prospect with top 6 upside or a 1st in the top 8-10 range. Odds are no one would offer that, but it’d allow us to get another young center in the org which we are pretty thin. LW is loaded in the wings with Othmann, Cuylle, Sykora and Berard in the wings waiting.

we scratched him for one game… it’s a wake up call… if you’ve played hockey before you’d know that.
