Maybe that’s what’s wrong with this post. A lot of unnecessary stuff is being added to confuse what should be a core trade of Kane for Laf +. In any case I just feel like the hawks aren’t getting enough assets back for what they are giving

I don’t want Kane. And I have zero confidence that adding him helps. We do not look like a playoff contender in the slightest. Trading for a rental would be stupid a this point.

Quite literally. This team appears to still be far too reliant upon him. We could add McDavid or Gretzky and it wouldn’t make a difference. This team will live and die based on how Shesty plays. I just don’t think this year they’ve got it.
