Leafs would be in such a cap predicament with his 9m QO, they can't afford him next season even for one year. At virtually all teams are in the same situation (they would be willing to offer him 9m).
I gotta think his trade value is virtually zero, and in effect he's goes to be a UFA July 1st as the Leafs can't qualify him.
