Kinda figured it's an over pay, maybe. One thing I worry about is depth at center?

Outside of 5ft from the opponents net, what does JVR bring to the Leafs that you think makes them better over kerfoot?

why do people always want to bring back players from some of the worst leafs teams of all time now that they are actually good?

Actually JVR was part of the second greatest leafs team 2017-2018 to bad our FO didnt think to improve the D till 2020

Man that was a fun team

Probs best top 9 for a long time

Marleau-Kadri-Brown
JVR-Bozak-Marner
Hyman-Matthews-Nylander

That said JVR doesnt fit the current mold as Bunting, Tavares, and soon Knies are the net front guys on the PP or when were attacking the zone. Adding JVR just crowds things

sure, but he was also a big part of the 14-17 leafs too. Point is that if he (and schenn and some others) are weirdly focused on by people round here despite them not being very good and if they weren't ex leafs we'd never hear of them
