I don't watch too many Devils game but I don't think Wood is worth a second. He is on pace for 16 goals and 32 points in 81 games. But I don't watch him and don't know if he is good defensively other then he has 9 takeaways and 8 blocked shots

That trade isn't close for Meier. The Sharks get much better offers than that.

Taylor Hall got 3 nobody prospects, a First (two years out), and a Third right after his MVP season. This is a mid round first (This year) A defenseman who can start playing third pair shutdown minutes immediately and a 6th OA pick with 35g+ potential.

Debrincat only got the 7OA, a third, and a Seventh with a year left on his contract.

Meier is not worth any more than either of those players
