That MacKinnon trade is so ridiculously off the mark, Here is a 28 year old Dman, not even one of your top 3 prospects and a 1st round pick for a teams 21 year old Face of the Franchise Center and most talented player.

Agree with the mackinnon trade... would likely have to throw horvat in and potentially a top 3 prospect as well... maybe even more.. plus you'd be more likely to nab duchene then mackinnon

Swap out Tanev for Joulevi and that's a better fit and a solid foundation for a trade. Avs need young players.

Probably because it's a waste of time talking about moving one of the three players the Avs aren't interested in or going to move.

Hey Man great effort, awesome job putting togetehr a trade for the Avs best player and Top line C to become the Canucks most offensively gifted player and to be their 1C by moving a Dman that the Avs really have no interest in being 28 years old and a righty when they have other Righties in Barrie and Johnson, a prospect that doesnt fit a organziation positional need and isnt one of your better ones in Boeser or Joulevi and a 1st round pick that is higher than the Avs in a draft that really are no impact players.

Its a solid effort in trying to trade for the Avs face of the franchise without giving up any major canucks building blocks making them better now and in the future while the Avs will be worse off long term. You might have to swap out that prospect, dman, for something else to temp to the Avs to change the direction of their franchise for the next decade but Love the attempt bud!
