Bob invokes his NMC and says NYET

With how Bobrovsky has performed this season, I doubt Seattle or any team will be willing to give up much of anything of value for him, even with Florida retaining a chunk of his salary. The Kraken already have a goalie problem to solve with Grubauer's struggles, and adding another overpaid goalie with several years left on his contract in Bobrovsky is not the solution.

I don’t think any team in the league takes Bob without 50% retention, and heavy sweeteners thrown their way by Florida.4

Trade talks with start with Lundell going with Bob, and then some; though, I frankly just don’t think FLA has the assets to move Bob. That contract is so onerous that it’s a horrific overpay if Bob is league-average, let alone him being…well, not.

That’s before you get to his NMC - and I doubt you’re convincing him to give up sunshine, beaches, and no state income tax for rain and higher taxes.
