I've seen sooooo many Isle fans say this, so, I'll say it, but, Islanders should just keep Parise. He's on a league minimum deal and producing at a great rate.

I like Parise, and I thought about maybe we should keep him. But I don't think we are making the playoffs. I think the Isles will want to give Parise another shot at a cup and trade him to a team like Boston.

We will be sellers at the deadline. Why would we take on more salary? If you don't think he's a fit, that's fine. I have no doubt the isles come the deadline will be able to find a playoff team who would want Parise....and with him only making 750K, that's an easy sell for anyone
