He’s signed for five years. Him wanting out doesn’t really matter. It’s not like vancouver would have to rush to get whatever they could for him.

Why???? TO and Van declines, the one player that will stick up for his teammates is now somehow trade bait?
We need him more than Hughes. To then add on a 2023 first and our third best prospect is asinine

Vancouver says no. Also Rielly says no. He literally just signed a long term deal to stay with the leafs. He has the final choice over being moved or not.

Maybe he signed for the stability, not for the Leafs. Also he lives in BC and his fiancé lives in BC, I don't see him vetoing a trade to Van.
