1) Leafs need a difference maker up front not more of the same style of players

2) by the numbers this year, Holl is better than Gudas

1. By style of Play Gudas is more useful

2. Barbashev is a fast, skilled, gritty LW who had 60 points last year, Acciari is a hard nosed hitting two way bottom 6 winger who is great depth.

So i don’t see the issue. the big splashes usually never result in deep runs. Minor splashes that = to a big one usually does. (Tampa,Colorado Are the most recent examples)

Not my first choice but I’m ok with blues trade but would rather we kept Kerfoot . Cap will work if you delete the second trade and run a 22 man roster ; Gudas is not gud

I hear you - I’d like a dman that could / would make it harder to get to and stand in front of the net; but I also think team D (like the Leafs are playing now, for the most part) is more important. Holl has been really good for the most part. Schenn - if price was right (3rd?) - could be 6/7 D slotting in or out depending on situation. Or Braun, but not sure he’s much of an upgrade on Benn

Understood other then the Gudas/Schenn trade do you think the Barby + Acciari trade is beneficial for the Leafs?

I’m torn between a move like this (& I think they’d both be good adds) & move for bigger impact player like Horvat or ROR. But I think we should keep Kerfoot (we’d have the cap space) - he’s a useful player
