the goalie move is fine but i don't want to trade a 2nd rounder for a player that's closer to the end of his top 4 days than coming into them.

This is because you haven't watch Savard, yes he might drop from being a top 4 defender to a bottom pairing dman but on the playstation. Because every dman on their wrong side of the 30's are dropping on that Franchise. But in real life, Savard gives you good minutes and he is excellent on the PK. He would be on a 3rd pairing on a contending team, like he was in Tampa, but MTL aren't trading him for an unwanted dman and a 2024 2nd round pick
Savard is our best RHD and we have no one close to eat top 4 minutes who are right handed
MTL don't consider moving Savard for a 2nd round pick

Minnesota declines easily. So does marc Andre Fleury. Fleury isn't waiving and Minnesota will not have lesser of a G situation. It's always been 1a , 1b

savard has been the most underrated defenseman in the NHL for years. i'm a big fan of his game. i think we're three years away and we need those 2nd round picks to get more young defenseman in the organization. we passed on lane hutson in round 2 this year for a goalie and we're about to lose portillo and johnson.

No, we really don't.

We have dahlin, power and Samuelsson. Everyone else is complimentary. And we still have 3 top 60 picks in a deep draft and a ton of cap space

After Fleury agreed to sign in MN for 2 years to finish his career, I'd think the chance of him waiving are slim to nill. Only chance is it's the 2024 TDL, the Wild are out of it and it knows he's going for one last cup run. Plenty of other moves MN can make to make the cap work the next two seasons.

LOL. People thinking Cozens are signing for $7mm hahahaha

Newsflash, Boldy signed for $7mm and Cozens is way out-producing him.

You gave no factual response besides getting mad that a proposal was rejected

You could probably swing a Joki for Savard swap, then use Bryson and a 2nd to nab a solid LHD or just sign one in FA. I'd like to see us bring in a good physical bottom 6 winger to add more edge, Miles Wood would be a perfect fit.

Your team has 10 million dollars to sign 7 players. This move makes absolute sense.

No it makes zero sense just like with your spurgeon proposals you never respond to. Just because it makes sense in your mind doesn't make it factual. You just want something Minnesota wouldn't offer
