With the number of teams interested the Jackets are in a position where they can set their minimum demand and have it met. That minimum is a 1st and 3rd. Not the equivalent of a 1st and 3rd. A 1st and 3rd.

Because why keep a 5’9” defenseman in the playoffs? He’ll get picked on and crushed, yet again. Need more size

Bruins wont move Matty G and that high of draft capital for for Vladdy. If they want size and grit, they are best to go after Luke Schen or get a depth D man that is mean/physical that they can insert into the the lineup when they need it.

You can get better, I mean the Bruins had Hedman or something, that would be better LOL .....this offer sadly doesn't make the Bruins any better LOL

Got it, but point remains they do need to add size. Schenn is good as another option back there.

Well, no. They don’t. Forbort, Carlo, and Lindholm are all huge. Somehow McAvoy and Clifton play bigger than all of them.

That said, I do agree that adding a 7th or 8th d man that’s in the Carlo/Forbort mold would be very helpful.
