Blues won't do that. One thing is for sure. 101 ESPN no matter how dumb I think their takes are, believe Armstrong would ask for a 2nd round pick for Acciari. I'd push to say he's our new glue. I don't believe the Blues will offer him up. He's probably a guy who sticks around for a few years.

Well done. This is the kind of deadline the bruins should be striving for. Depth bottom six forward that can play multiple positions on multiple lines, and a depth D.

Schenn is a good target but these type of D require overpay so I doubt VAN would take this return.

In the event two top9 forwards are unavailable, Bruins have a top6 and two 4th lines. That's an issue and it is part of the reason they should add another forward. Also, they're pretty good but can improve offensively.

In the event of two top9 forwards going down to injury, the 3rd line will look like at worse Foligno/Coyle/Smith. That's still a decent 3rd line.

BOS doesn't have the cap to go for big targets at the deadline, but that being said the depth of this team is still pretty good.

Mediocre, Foligno and Smith are both 4th liners. The cap can be worked, give up picks/prospects to move some players.

These string of losses isn't on the composition of the lines. They're just straight up playing bad right now...

The tampa and florida game were easily winnable. The canes game was a scheduled loss anyway.

Also to add, JD has been out since JAN 2. BOS has been 9-3-1 since then.

I'm not saying they shouldn't add at the deadline, I'm saying they shouldn't trade for any of the big names. Especially Horvat.
