Description

addresses the 3 spots the leaf's are looking to improve in. while Vancouver gets what they want for their retool, in Anderson who has played in the nhl but hasn't been given a shot on the leaf, Robertson whos had injures de rail his development, they also get 2 BC natives who grew up canucks fans. as well as a 1st,2nd and 3rd round pick

Garland is a more expensive and less defensive Kerfoot, Kuzmenko has no track record and Schenn would be the #5 RD in TO. Holl, Brodie, Liljegren and Timmins are all better than Schenn. This is a waste of assets to get a 2LW who may not even be that good. Not enough track record for Kuzmenko

bunting didnt have a long track record and worked good. the elafs have tried to trade for garland a couple times before so i could see them trying again. as for schenn he brings physicality and vetran leadership that they are missing from muzzin

Bunting is bigger and plays a role that works for the top 6. He also isn't making 5 million a season. So thanks for helping my argument, obviously Dubas can find a better player for less money than the 5 million dollar small winger Garland.

Anderson has no value. Every organization has players like them. He's cleared waivers for a reason. Not all that relevant but whatever.

Why are you trading for an ahler?

vancouver has said they are retooling and would prefer young players who never worked out in the nhl rather then picks and to me that scream joey anderson.

Leafs certainly don't want Garland and his 4.9m contract for over 3 years. Garland is not an improvement over Kerfoot. Schenn is nice but who does he replace on the Leafs right side? The usual overpayment for little improvement,yes Kozmenko would be nice.

Yes their owner is an idiot and doesn't allow his GM's to do their jobs. That isn't new. But it is also something that 31 teams will try to take advantage of.
