Description

The main thing this team needs to focus on is getting out of the first round! Regular season means nothing at this point, it’s all about the playoffs and that’s what will determine the fate of Keefe and Dubas’s jobs and the chances of Matthews resigning next year. If they lose in game 7 of round one AGAIN, they will need to make big changes to the organization this time.

It’s not ideal but I could see the wings accepting that. Would like to get a second rounder back but that would likely do.

A 2nd is Domi's worth and since the Leafs don't have a 2023 2nd, the 2024 2nd + may work. Chicago will probably be involved in other trades that obtain 2023 picks so they may want to add some picks for down the road anyway.

That won't do it for sunny, especially with retention. Quality is better than quantity.
