I mean is Acciari really that much of an upgrade on Engvall that warrants a 2nd round pick? Kinda seems like a waste of a pick. They have a very similar stat line.

Giraffe? You're a dinosaur. For some reason fans think the better player one has possession of the puck, throws it the offensive corner and then tries to retrieve. Engvall is one of few bottom enders that has the ability to carry the puck and maintain possession. Horrible Blues deal for the Leafs. Gee, wouldn't the Devils just wait till July 1st when the Leafs can't QO Meier and then try to sign him as a UFA.

I think if the Blues throw in a late round pick (5th/6th), that would definitely even out the value more.

I love Acciari's game but I don't think a 2nd round pick reflects the difference between Engvall and Acciari.

I'd rather go for Barbashev instead if we decide to offer the 2024 2nd round pick. Add in a decent prospect for good measure.
