Getting Horvat would be huge for the Wings, especially with Larkin resigning.

Yeah Maatta at 4 years isn't a need, When we've Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder coming up. I think Yzerman resigns Walman before Maatta.

Rasmussen and Wallinder would definitely be the start, Local boy Rasmussen and Wallinder would be a nice start for a package deal for Bo.

This is not a complete work up, its more of a generalization to see what the money would look like in two years when we need to sign raymond and mo. If the wings want horvat they will most likely need to trade for him with all the other teams interested someone will trade for him and sign him to an extension. If yo want a guy you have to go get him you can't hope he makes it to free agency. So I only put Hronek in the trade for Bo because I see that as a most likely piece. I didn't want to include anything for Bert because we have no idea what his value will be at the deadline. With him being so banged up this year 3 separate injuries teams could be leery especially if he doesn't start getting on the score sheet. Maatta for 4 isn't bad I would hope would could sign him for 2 or 3 but he has a say in the matter as well and someone will give it to him after a good year.

Fair enough, but still makes very little sense to trade for a pending UFA, especially in the Wings position. Not gonna happen unless and extension is already in place.

Yea I think if they don't someone else will. Bruins are interested and they did it last year with Lindholm.
