Why doesn't Philly just retain on TDA for the increased assets themselves?

I assume they will be moving other players with retention. This would also be possible if necessary.

1st pairing TDA vs 3rd pairing TDA are two completely different things. If you’re going to make this statement, you need to evaluate a lot of players on the Canes based on the same criticism.

We all thought bringing back De Haan was impossible too. Canes do a nice job of being honest with players and not burning bridges. If TDA is the right player in the Canes eyes, him being a Canes previously would not be a limiting factor.
