Description

This team already can’t score goals before being torn down, good luck scoring with Otto Koivula and Kyle Palmieri in the top-6. Although trading sorokin would be a sure-fire way to guarantee a top pick, I just can’t bring myself to to trade a vecina caliber goalie when there are basically no other goaltending prospects in the entire organization

Hard pass on that MIN deal. Maybe I'm too low on Addison but that looks terrible for NYI. Mayfield fetches a 1st by himself. You're sending Brock retained at 50% for 2.5 years for Addison and a 3rd

A couple reasons. 1. Beauvillier desperately needs a change of scenery, and being thrust into a top-6 role with his hometown Canadiens could be good for him; 2. He’s young and Montreal is in the midst of a rebuild; 3. A lot of Montreal’s wingers are goal-scorers, which Beauvillier is not, he’s more a speedy two-way type. He wouldn’t necessarily be a “buy” because he’s someone a team trying to win would trade for, he’s a young winger who has shown a lot of promise in previous years that has just been off the last two seasons and could possibly reach his potential on a new team.
