Think youre over valuing Deangelo a little bit.

Seemed to me the Flyers are weak on the right side. DeAngelo is an incredibly impactful offensive defenseman to compliment Philly's forwards. Flyers fans I've spoken with are jaded with Couturier and Mason is going to be UFA anyway. Add in a first rounder and I'd say while I may be overvaluing DeAngelo, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

I agree that they could probably get a 3rd as they are likely to lose him in expansion. Not unreasonable, imo.

Philly wouldn't do that deal. We have an offensive defenseman named Ghost and don't really need DeAngelo when we have Sanheim developing and Provorov still. I like him a lot but he is way overvalue here especially with the pick in the 20's that doesn't do much. Maybe #7 evens it out but I still wouldn't do it.

Aberg will fetch more. The Philly trade doesn't make sense because they have plenty of young D and the rights to Mason doesn't move the needle much when he's an upcoming UFA and they could just make him an offer during the offer period. Vegas is definitely not taking the rights to Pulkinnen. AZ doesn't have much, but any of Schenn, Domingue, Richardson or McGinn is worth more than Pulkinnen.
