That is egregiously awful for Nashville; Ekholm is not a cap dump, or even overpaid.

The Ducks deal makes no sense for the Jackets. Robinson is one of our best forecheckers, after all, and Bjork has been a pleasant surprise.

Hayes is more of the same "don't bother with defense" approach we have a bit too much of, so I don't think he's a good target. Frankly, if we get Horvat signed to a contract like that, we don't need Hayes in any case.

I think Philly would do that. Idk much about Foudy’s game but Bean and a couple 3rds, and unloading that contract is good for a Flyer’s rebuild.

Completely agree with your first 2 points, but I kinda like Hayes for the jackets. He's only got 2or3 seasons left I believe and that lines up nicely with all the young guys needing new contracts. He's a big body center who could offensively keep up with Laine/Johnny. Jenner could move down to 2C aswell and would help the teams lineup dynamic. Horvat would be great to get but I'm just hesitant of the team signing another UFA for big money(he probably gets closer to 9mil)
