Idk if isles accept that. While Shane wright is awesome, i feel like the 1st and 3rd are almost the cost for having to take on Wennberg and grubauer’s contracts, and by trading two of our top 3 players for that package we would be getting kinda robbed.

That second trade was just too obvious that this person is an Islanders fan (not that his username wasn’t obvious enough lmao)

Grubauer would be a very expensive cap dump and Wennberg is just meh and expensive also. Brock Nelson is one of the most underrated centers in the league and Sorokin is the best goalie in the league, in this scenario he would have to agree to an extension. The 2024 draft is not (so far) considered to be a good draft-class and a probable late one to the Isles. Nyman is decent prospect, nothing more. Shane Wright is obviously the center-piece going back to the Isles, but how is this biased towards the Isles? Seattle would easily be a true contender after this trade...

You don’t trade franchise corner stones for stat padding goaltender and a good second line center

”Stat padding goaltender” 😂 and Nelson is definitely better than just a ”good second line center”, you’re clueless.

Brock is a second liner more so an upper second line player oh and he’s in his 30s

And Sorokin puts up stats but they don’t lead to enough wins for the islanders to be relevant

How does a goalie “put up stats”? That makes 0 sense

Hahaha put up stats but they don’t lead to wins… you sir are a massive troll. Do you expect Sorokin to score the goals for Isles also? He’s saved ish ~ 30 goals above expected lol.

I didn’t say wins I said “enough wins to be relevant” like who actively treats the islanders like playoff threats?

When have I or any other even mentioned Isles as a team in this discussion? They suck and without Sorokin they would for sure been a bottom 5-team this season, what are you talking about? ”Enough wins to be relevant” has nothing to do with Sorokin and Nelson, do you also blame Gaudreau for Blue Jackets team failure this season etc?
