I think it would be a first + holtz + another piece. Holtz won't be as good as Timo, but they do different things. Yesterday an article came out the sharks were looking for a 1st + 2-B prospects, 1st+ A-grade/NHL ready youngster or NHL ready youngster and a good prospect

What makes you say that?
Holtz is producing just about the same rate as *checks notes* Timo Meier at the same ages in the NHL...

in Meier's age 21 season he played 81 games and scored 21 goals..... correct me if im wrong holtz isnt on pace for that. Also meier has 25 lbs on Holtz and can drive play. Basically any prospect the sharks get back in the trade (mostly due to the quality of prospects we are linked with) likely wouldn't be as good as timo is now.

Holtz hasn't played a game in the NHL as a 21 year old (his birthday was on the 23rd).
Holtz pre 21yo NHL ppg: 0.22
Meier pre 21yo NHL ppg: 0.18

I don't see why Holtz wouldn't be able to score 20 goals / 40 points over the 23/24 season, which is about what Meier did as a 21 year old.

I would split up Timo and Jack. They're both volume shooters so they may limit each other's potential. Imo Jack should have a utility playmaker like Tatar or Mercer and a sniper like Holtz, Sharangovich, or Zetterlund.

ah I see, thank you for correcting me lol. he could especially on that stacked devils team, I am under the impression that things haven't gone to plan a little (like he's ranked 72 on best u23 players) and ive seen several projections that he's 2nd line. Holtz is a fine prospect I dont believe he will be as good as meier due to different play styles

Devils can keep Holtz and we keep Timo/trade him to another team.

Holtz is not a B prospect, so to your point, 1st and Holtz should do (2nd point above). Too much IMO
The third point would be: our '22 1st, Probably one of our Cs not name Hughes/Hishchier and a prospect
or our 1st and Mukhamadulin who is top 60 and just a few slots over Holtz. I would add a small pick to that/prospect

lol eklund is a fringe top line prospect and he's 30 spots higher than holtz, sharks dont need more prospects of that caliber, if that was the deal I would hope the sharks just keep him
