I think this gets it done. I want to hear what Sabres ACGMs think...Who is the bigger trade piece, Isak Rosen or Noah Ostlund?

Personally I like Ostlund better but I think I’m in the minority. I think GM’s would probably prefer Rosen since he’s producing in the AHL and is closer to the NHL than Ostlund (1-2 yrs compared with 2-3 years)

Ostlund imo. He projects as a good playmaking center/winger who can play on the 2nd line and PP whereas Rosen is most likely a speedy middle 6 sniper who could also produce on the PP. I prefer the style of player that Ostlund is and the sabres already have a bunch of players that are too similar to Rosen

I can see Rosen being a complimentary piece on the Sabres and Ostlund being a core piece from what I'm reading.

I think the timing is a great point. Rosen is producing in the ahl, although I don't think he's exactly killing it. Rosen had a nice junior tournament but I still think he's gotta fill out more. Ostlund potentially plays the more important position, but he's playing in Sweden and I can never make heads or tails of their counting numbers. I think Rosen had a better junior tournament than ostlund. I wouldn't call this the most scientific assessment, but from what I see on here, more fans from other teams want ostlund. That could be a number of things of course- he's a center, and he's a shiny new toy because he was drafted a year later.

Low expectations, so I won't be disappointed regardless. Would love to be pleasantly surprised haha
