No objection to Konecny at all but I think it's one piece to much, I would think that would get Meier to be honest.

To be real I think Konecny would be a target before Meier just based on what it would cost contract wise as Konecny would have 2 yrs after this year of control

That's what I was thinking. I like Konecny's style of play and leadership capabilities as well. Not big but he hits, fore and backchecks, and goes to dirty areas. I think he would rub off on young core players like Quinn, JJ, Krebs etc. And it is an overpay. That's what you need to do to get a player you really like.

As a blues fan I'd be delighted with than return. I don't think it will take a 2nd to get him, more likely a 3rd but I'd take that

Yeah I think a 4th is too little. Also depends on the 2nd because if Vegas does good the late 2nd could be closer to a early 3rd round pick. But you could just make it a 2024 3rd.

No thanks on the 24 pick if others offer a 23.
