Middelstadt trade seems like a classic one for one swap, a fair trade for both. Also, I believe both players would go back home?

I feel like thats alot to give up for an unproven NHL center and a cap dump...I'd be inclined to accept if I was Dorion...

Maybe I didn’t need to include Beckman.

Mitts getting better by the day. No reason to trade him.

Sabres accept

No we wouldn’t
Adams doesn’t hate Mitts like you do

Sabres side is giving up a bit too much imo
And idk that we’d consider trading Mitts for 1+ years of Foligno

If u took out the pick, then we might
But then u guys probably wouldn’t

Also, we don’t even need Greenway
We’re loaded with forwards

I think this trade works with some of our fans,
who DESPERATELY want us to get tougher,
but i don’t think it works in reality

We have four or five 1-2nd rounders to draft tougher players

I don’t even think it’s all that big of a deal
If we could get a tough guy that’s actually good at hockey,
then great
But we aren’t gonna trade for Greenway imo
That’s the kind of stuff u hear from older fans who still think it’s the 70s 🤣🤣🤣

Plus Foligno 31 doesn’t fit into rebuild no matter where he from. Mitts turning into good player

Foligno coming back for a playoff run this year, and to replace Okposo next year, makes sense to me
But not for Mitts

Maybe for a 2nd?

Would hope there’s younger better options in july.

There might be
But that’s a big maybe

And Adams & the Sabres have been putting a pretty big emphasis on bringing guys in who really wanna be here

I’m quite sure that Foligno would fall under that category
Positive actually

I also think McCabe would be a perfect guy to target to shore up our 3rd pair
I’m not usually one for bringing back guys once they’ve left,
but i think in these specific cases that it would be a good thing
