If you consider not falling backwards a win then yes they could win the lottery. Larkin turned down 8x8 when Horvat got traded.

Larkin already said no to 8x8.

Yzerman would need to sell off 20% of the team, For us to even stand a chance on the Connor Bedard sweepstakes.

No interest whatsoever in either the Edmonton or Philly trade.

Zadina doesn't have value to anyone but Detroit. Cossa and a first doesn't get Konecny let alone him with Hart and Provorov

That Philly deal is hilarious. I doubt it even gets you Provorov.

Guys, the trade is laughable but, don’t prove that point by saying something else ridiculous. Cossa and a 1st absolutely nets either Provy or Konecny.

It'd would get Provorov sure, but it wouldn't get Konency. He's still over a point per game on bad team and he's on a good contract for a couple more years. Cossa hasn't had a great year and we have enough goalie prospects. We'd want a forward or d-man back. A mid/late first is only so valuable.

Philly is flush will goalie prospects that look a hell of a lot better than Cossa, not to mention Hart is 24. As I said, that deal might get you Provorov, but no chance TK is coming back.
