Canucks will not take back Salary especially for Shenn. They are trying to shed not gain.

None of these moves make sense for the Pens.

Completely disagree... I think these all make reasonable sense from the pens perspective. This is a much improved roster overall for a team trying to win now.

Ottawa: DeSmith has been better than Talbot this year. No reason to give up a 2nd to downgrade.

Vancouver: Schenn sucks and the Pens don't need him.

San Jose: Too much for Barabanov

St Louis: Way too much for a guy who shouldn't even be a regular on a good team, let alone getting top 9 minutes.

Ottawa: DeSmith has been abysmal lately, and the pens need a goaltender that can reliably stay healthy. The asking price for Talbot is a second and a prospect. I mean you could bump that down to a third realistically, but I think you're overvaluing what DeSmith has been this year.

Vancouver: that's a fair point, but what has dumo done this year for us? His contract is up at the end of the season and I would value the cap flexibility more with schenn on a bottom pairing/depth role than dumos turnovers and defensive lapses. Hallander is basically a throw in since dumo probably leaves in free agency.

San Jose: Legare is a nothing prospect with minimal value. The deal is basically blueger for Barabanov. The bottom 6 needs a shake up and with how well teddy had played in the past, he's just not finding his groove while Barabanov has been providing consistent bottom 6 production this season.

St Louis: Not sure what you think we're giving up in kapanen and peohling, but acciari is a bottom 6 center. If we are moving on from teddy (which we most likely will be) then you need a center to fill that role.

San Jose isn’t trading a 50 point player on a $2.5 mil deal for that

I like the players you brought in but I doubt they make 4 trades and give up all of that. Acciari for blueger and a mid pick would be good and then a trade for 3rd liner. Maybe Talbot as insurance too.

They won’t move dumo though unfortunately.

Kapanen needs to be dealt
