Canucks possibly accept although Kerfoot is worth nothing, Yotes laugh you away, and Justin Holl is a cone

I'll never understand the sentiment among a significant portion of the Toronto fanbase to get rid of Justin Holl in general, and to exchange him for equally UFA Luke Schenn in particular, especially since it will surely be possible to acquire Schenn for other assets.

I don't know . . . maybe because he's better and cheaper than Cody Ceci?

ceci's playing good enough this year and holl would be a definite down grade at this time

Everyone knows the Oilers only like to give former Leafs way too much term and money after they leave the Leafs. They'll give Holl 3 years and 3.5 next summer

Kerfoot is Garland but better defensively and costs less. This is an absolute terrible trade for TO.

Barrie is having a great year and Ceci has revived his career in Edmonton. Holl is a downgrade. Watch some Oilers hockey before you say this.

I do watch Oiler games. Ceci is absolutely brutal. Barrie is also awful unless on the PP where he hands it off to the stars and piles up 2nd assists. Holl actually defends well hence why TO is a better defensive team. But Holland will offer him 3.5 million in the offseason likely

It sure would be nice to play in the weakest division in hockey and then be proud about beating teams that wouldn't ever make the playoffs in the east. When you do play a good team you get swept.

In the Matthews era, the Leafs have never faced a team in the playoffs outside of the top 5 teams in the league. Must be nice getting to play the likes of LA and Calgary in the playoffs. Once you played an actual good team, what happened?

You haven't won jack either and have missed the playoffs as many times as you've made them in the McDavid era. I guess losing later one or twice means something to you guys.

Garland is another small forward that doesn't hit. What need does he fill for the leaf?
