Take out everything but the second and boston might consider it. This makes them so much worse.

Friedman has reported the price being discussed is a second or a third round pick for toews. At least four of the pieces boston is moving has more value than toews, so you’re talking maybe a 10x overpayment.

Take everything out except for the 2nd then add maybe a 3rd and it’s a deal

Toews is not worth this asking price. I don't even think 1st round + Lysell would be worth it for Boston. It would be an overpriced rental that wouldn't help them with scoring, Kane is a better target for the bruins than Toews. I'd be okay with 1st round + Lysell for Patrick Kane.
