Seattle's not going to swap out Soucy for another, older, more expensive, and less productive pending UFA in Dumoulin unless Pittsburgh gives them a good incentive to do so.

I will post in every damn thread where Kapanen is traded to the Canucks if I have to.

Vancouver spends more on wingers than any other team in the league. It makes no sense for them to trade one winger making $4.95m for a winger making $3.2m + the 1.75m that you have the Canucks retaining on Garland. Guess what, that means they end up paying the exact same for Kapanen to play on the 4th line as they are paying Garland to play on the second line.
