Would rather have Morrow (or Jarvis, but Morrow makes more sense from both teams' perspective) from CAR which a lot of their fans would, obviously begrudgingly but nonetheless knowingly due to the nature of such a deal, accept to include. Same with TOR with Knies. Probably Savoie with BUF too, although they're farther from CAR and TOR.

NJD offers that exclude Mercer or Nemec are beat. If NJ includes one, NJ has Meier again.

You do realize that San Jose will never get nemec or Mercer in a trade. Those are untouchables. Y’all don’t have a lot of leverage. This is the best offer any team will probably give ya

I don't think it is whatsoever. I mentioned at least three teams who are a lot more likely to beat this offer. On the very off chance that even those aren't good enough for SJ, Sharks will just keep Timo. It's simple: if teams won't pay up for Timo, this isn't a situation where Grier's made his decision to trade Timo no matter what -- he'll just resign him.

Holtz/Shakir/1st is likely enough. a second, bahl, and Blackwood are cherries on top of that.

Blackwood's a cap dump. Holtz is too much an unknown as a centerpiece for Meier. Shakir's the man, but not enough for Meier, so I wouldn't call it likely enough. I'm also acknowledging that Mercer/Nemec being included in a Meier deal is unlikely as well. I don't think a Meier to NJD deal gets done in the end. He goes somewhere else or stays a Shark.

If you think Holtz isnt an A level prospect then never mind.
What ive heard is an A + 1st, 2B+1st, or 1B+1st+roster player.
Holtz (A) +Shakir (B) +1st should be plenty
