Montreal says no.

Ottawa probably says no (not too far off).

LA says no.

We don't do it cause Guhle is one of our 2 future top 4 LHD (Hutson is the other one) he is already playing top pairing (or was before the injury) and excelling beyond imagination. This is about as likely as if we proposed Clarke for Harris

FYI, he's from the same draft as Byfield and was averaging over 20 minutes a night before getting injured. You may be thinking of Brendan Guhle.

Montreal definitely says no, guhle is a gem already as a rookie age 20, I'm assuming you undervalued him so you came with the trade but what is your realistic expectation for a durzi trade ? Habs will definitely take a look if the price is realistic for a rebuilding team...

Montreal and LA are bad trade partners. The players from Montreal that LA would be interested in aren't available. The ones that are available aren't worth Durzi.

Piere lebron said LA are interested in edmundson so i can see a deal where edmundson with 50% retaind and colorado 2nd for durzi or edmundson 25% retaind and montreals 2nd ..

I'm sure LA is asking about Edmundson. They're asking every team about every LHD that could potentially be available. He's not returning Durzi. Walker maybe, and even then only if Montreal retains.

Edmundson is a previously decent large defenseman that is having a lot of trouble with injuries, is on a bad value contract, and has been playing poorly this season (even relative to his teammates). Durzi is a young defenseman who is on par for 50 points this season, on a very team-friendly contract with another year remaining, and will still be an RFA on expiration. He's also the much more rare RHD, and has the added benefit of being able to play on both sides of the ice.

The two are not remotely comparable.

Nah man, he was excellent. Durzi would be a great partner for him I think but Guhle is just about untouchable for Montreal
