Description
Watching the Canucks game right now, and Friedman at the intermission once again was talking about how the Wild have interest in Boeser, but with their cap situation going forward, it would be difficult to do.

How about this though? Greenway for Boeser, and then the 1st is because Vancouver will be retaining $5.3m over 2 years. I still feel like Minny should add, but I am a Canucks fan, so I’m obviously biased.

Seems like an okay trade to me, 1m cap relief might not be enough for the Canucks though but they do have the benefit of being able to move Greenway's smaller contract in the future if needed.

For Minnesota, they should at least get a decent offensive winger at 4m. If the change of scenery works in Boeser's favor, then they get an excellent goal scorer to pair with Boldy.

As Canucks I'd take this.

Not if I'm the Wild. Boeser at 4M is still not easy to fit (we already need to lose Greenway's salary anyway), and he's not worth our 1st this year.

Do you think something like this makes sense though? With a different pick (say a 2nd or maybe two 3rds).

I would not include a 1st in a deal for Boeser…too much risk.

I think the Greenway trade makes sense and 4M for Boeser is about right. I would probably go for it, even though the Wild will need the cap space in the next two years.
