Huh? I'm not unhappy, and who wouldn't be sad to see an adopted son go, but that's life. Not sure what any of that has to do with this weak offer. Lots of teams will top that easy.

Tampa is overpaying for Benning here. Foote+2nd or 3rd should be enough. There's no reason to lose Koepke as well.

This is the type of trade one would expect Karmanos to make at the TDL, a large RHD with an extra year of term for an AHL player.
If Buffalo were to retain a little of Vinnie's salary. BriseBois may make this deal to cut the Bolts cap.
