Good trade for both teams. But it depends how healthy ROR is.

He's playing tomorrow so we'll see soon enough

ROR is from my neck of the woods. Well close enough. I cheer for him no matter where he plays. Nice humble guy. He let me carry the Cup when he visited his hometown. 🙂

ROR to boston doesn’t make any sense. Them moving Frederic doesn’t make any sense. I do think there is something behind an acciari trade though.

His kid plays hockey in the same organization that mine does. See him around the rink from time to time. He is great guy. Actually think there is a decent chance Blues trade him and then resign him in off-season. Based on Armstrong's response in Tarasenko's trade presser though and a few other things prior, I do think he is trading him though.

I don't understand how getting a proven money playoff player who won a conn smythe doesn't make sense to add to one of the top teams but all good.

3rd for Acciari is fine.

Zero need for ROR and moving a 1st and Frederic for guys they don’t need as not a good move.

Because its 2023, and ROR isn’t the same player.
You could also just look at the bruins roster, that’s the bigger issue. No fit. No need. Non space.

I like this move and think you are just about there. If this were to happen irl 👀 I would be a little skeptical of moving Frederic. That is my only concern

Understood - wouldn't have to be in the return. Could be a prospect instead.

Like it’s one of those things, do you make the call or no. Trade him or a prospect. Well Sweeney seems to know the future because every player he traded haven’t turned out for the other team.

That's a good deal for the Bruins although St. Louis is probably looking for more in return of O'Reilly.
