So you’re giving up a first to bump frederic down (there’s a significant debate to be had on whether he or barbashev is better at this juncture), and knock the teams top penalty killing forward out of the lineup? Why?

Umm... maybe the Blues bite on that. Might quibble over this piece or that, but yeah, a 23 1st will get their attention.

When Nosek is back I’d play him on the left and throw fliggy on the right and Greer to the press box. I feel like with no 2nds which is the value of players we are targeting this deadline we have to get a little bit creative to get a player that will actually impact this deep line up. With 3rd round picks and no prospect pool we aren’t going to get much to make this truly a “last dance.”

I just don’t see any clear upgrade.

Wait did you just include Ahcan in this deal? thats a non starter for Boston.
