Meier trade is likely what it would cost. Hopefully could recoup some assets as we trade him and PLD in the offseason so I’m ok with it.

Very easy comp is the Jarnkrok trade last deadline. Barbashev may even be a bit more valued of a commodity due to his season last season. But I’d be willing to bet that’s around what he returns.

If you aren’t wanting to look at the trade details he brought back a 2nd in 22, a 3rd in a later draft and a 7th.

Montour is 8th in scoring among defensemen, over guys like Josi and Heiskanen. I don't think he is moving anywhere
