Absolutely not, this is a terrible move for Vancouver

Arizona declines. They want 1st round picks top prospects and/or good young players not another team's collection of overpaid/underperforming castoffs. Demko and Beoser's contracts have too much term for the Coyotes to take them to retain and flip too.

They are getting a 1st round pick, a 1st round prospect from the most recent draft, a young winger who’s had success in the NHL already, Rathbone who has upside as on offensive dman. Then you add Demko, a top 10 goalie on a great contract, and Boeser, who has been much better lately and playing at a 60+ point pace. Arizona would be foolish to decline this, but the Canucks wouldn’t be dumb enough to offer it in the first place

You do understand some trades don't work for either side? You need to consider both teams' needs not just your team's needs.

While I agree Vancouver isn't likely to trade Demko Arizona doesn't need a goalie at this time and Boeser doesn't have near the value knucks fans like to think he does. For that matter neither do Rathbone and Hoglander if they were half as good as you people say they are Hoglander wouldn't be back in the AHL and Rathbone would be in the NHL by now too.

Besides Demko isn't even looking like a starter this year far less a top 10 goalie. Chances are good he'll rebound and be good again but nobody is going to value him as a starter in a trade until that happens.

And Lekkerimaki might have been drafted in the 1st round but he isn't playing like a 1st round pick is expected to.
