I seriously doubt he'll cost that much but at this point we just have to wait and see. As it always is, the longer a trade is floating around ACGM, the higher the price gets

Nemec, 1st is absolutely fair. NJ has so many RHD in the pipeline. Most analysts out there have suggested one of Nemec or Holtz. This malarkey that Mukhamadulin and Sharangovich is going to land Timo is beyond ignorant.

Nemec is just as likely as Holtz to be moved.

If Nemec and/or Mercer have to be included, plus a 1st then I'm passing if NJ.

If it's a 1st, Holtz and another A-/B+ prospect going back, sure I'll do the trade in a heartbeat.

When you have a surplus of something, you don't trade away the best one. The devils have 1 RHD spot available for the next half decade. Why would you trade your best young one, instead of keeping him and getting value out of the others.

Also when was the last time a prospect of Nemec caliber/age was traded?

When was the last time a 47 goal power forward in his prime was available. Devils are not true contenders without Timo. Let's be honest Jack Hughes is great but he's made of glass. Sink or swim Devils fans. You need Timo. And you're going to pay for him.

There have been plenty of players of meier's caliber traded. I'd love for you to tell me the last time a top 5 prospect in hockey was traded at 18 years old?
