If you sold Tarasenko, O'Reilly is not safe. And who know he loved Buffalo but hated Eichel

Yeah, that's not the funny part. The funny part is that offer. Middelstadt is no thanks, the Blues do not need goalie prospects and I have no idea why they'd be sending a 2nd, arguably the best asset in the trade aside from him, to Buffalo?

Yeah Buffalo has a better chance to make to the playoffs that the St. ****ty Blues. Plus O'Reily loved Buffalo. Plus you guys only have 400k in cap. You guys are now probably rebuilding. I would maybe add the Sabres 2nd to make it more equal.

While O’Reilly might be a good fit in BUF but the picks need flipped and add Ostlund or another higher prospect going to STL…and really the pick should probably be a conditional first in ‘24

Blues don’t need a goalie. Highly doubt the Blues would move a 2nd for Middlestadt alone.

I would say thats fair. I dont know if Adams would go for the first. I would say maybe Biro instead of Ostlund

I mean he could be the goalie of the future though. Binnington has not done great and would get more expensive as time goes on.

Binnington is signed for 5 more seasons. They also have Hofer who has been really good and signed a 2 year 2 wat extension. He’ll probably be the backup for the next couple of seasons. Zherenko has also looked really promising. It’s probably the last position they need depth right now

O’Rielly enjoyed Buffalo as much as I enjoy watching Blackhawks hockey this season

True he is reluctant to move a first rounder, but I thought a conditional (on making playoffs) first in ‘24 might be doable. As for Biro, I think he is on the cusp of the NHL prospect, but they might want a prospect a little further away if this is a full rebuild situation

The only reason he got traded was because Eichel and him were butting heads.
