This is why the Kings will lose in the Chychrun sweepstakes, Bruins real window is now, he’s worth the assets it costs if it adds enough to win a cup and maybe more.

At this point I expect Boston to get everyone and go 16-0 in the playoffs so this seems about right to me

Quantity > quality in the Chych trade imo.

The two firsts are fine, but you threw two cap dumps at them and 2 meh prospects and they put a 3rd back in. Trade needs to be tweaked

2 things
1. Thales chy trade here is the latest reported offer made by the bruins.

2. Brett Harrison isn't a "meh" prospects he is on fo the biggest steals of the 3rd round of the 2021 draft. For reference he was the 2nd star in the chl last week

I would consider a 3rd round OHL prospect to be a mid tier prospect, yes.

Kris letang, Tyson barrie, and Adam Fox are just a couple of names who were 3rd round CHL prospects

For every Adam Fox/Kris Letang there are a hundred busts so until he either does something in the A/NHL stop with the Fox comparison

Wasn't so much a fox comparison it was just showing that just cause he was picked in the 3rd round doesn't mean he is a shifty prospect

A 3rd round OHL pick and a 22 year old college player aren't exactly the ripest fruit on the tree. Boston has better.

I didn't say they are shifty, or even bad, I said they are mid tier prospects. Nothing to write home about

It’s their 2nd and 3rd best prospects. Lohrei looks pretty good and Harrison last time I looked was a top ten ohl goal scorer.

According to who, thehockeywriters?

Aside from Lysell... Poitras and Locmelis are better. Nobody is saying Lohrei and Harrison are bad, but they are mid tier at peak value right now.

Ya no. Pretty universally accepted opinion that it’s lysell, lohrei, Harrison.

You’re the outlier here

What...?
Poitras is scoring at a 1.36ppg in the same league while being drafted a whole round higher than Harrison, AND he's younger. What makes Harrison more valuable...?

Lohrei, while decent and big, is 22 and still in college. There's no telling how his game will translate to a pro league. Poitras and Locmelis>

It's not "universally accepted", if you're basing your teams prospect values off a thehockeywriters article. I think YOU might be the outlier.

Are you under the impression that I’ve said either player is a sure fire nhler? I am not of that opinion. They’re high end prospects though

First off - everyone that says mid can kick rocks. Just use english, is it that hard?

And no, that’s not moving the goalposts. You did that by saying, “there’s no telling how that translates to pro,” which is something you can say of literally every single prospect not playing North American professional hockey.

You can continue to be a very misinformed contrarian if you’d like. But if you’re going to be a contrarian, at least know what you’re talking about. Pick your spots better. And don’t say mid. It’s lame.
