No, it doesn't need to happen financially. Quick's contract ends this season. The idea that we'd have to pay a first-round draft pick to get rid of him due to horrible asset management is simply idiotic. Obviously, I understand how these things work a *** of a lot better than you do. It starts with not investing in a goalie with a similar cap hit who may not play again this season.
